Lindsey Ellen Interior Design is a full service design firm based in San Jose. I offer clients throughout the greater Bay Area a diverse range of services including new construction, full service interior design for renovations in addition to styling and furnishing selections. I work directly with clients to customize and enhance their space based on their personal style and lifestyle to create a home that is functional, cohesive and aesthetically pleasing.

DESIGN CONSULTATION

This service is perfect for anyone who isn't quite ready for Full-Service Design but need guidance from a design professional.  Design consulting is a great way to have your project designs completed by a professional designer so you can complete the project on your own.

With this service, you are provided with a complete design plan with a design concept, finish materials, furnishings and a complete guide how to implement on your own. 

 

Design fees start at $2000 

COLOR CONSULTATION

This service is ideal if you are a new homeowner, working on a remodel, or starting new construction and you need help deciding on a color palette. 

I will arrive at your home with a myriad of color swatches to help determine what works best in the space. 

$300/120 minutes

FULL SCOPE FURNISHING

For clients who have a completed space but need assistance creating a cohesive look and feel.  Working with either one full room or multiple rooms, I offer furnishing and styling services that include space planning, fabric and furniture selections, window treatments, wall covering/paint colors, artwork, and lighting.  I will source, help select. deliver and install the elements that turn your house into a home. 
 

Design Fees start at $2,000

FULL-SERVICE INTERIOR DESIGN

Full Service Design is for clients who want a professional to do all the planning and manage all aspects. I take care of all the details working with you from start to finish.  I will develop design concepts customized for you, source all materials & furnishings, and work with tradespeople to complete every detail of the installation, Leaving you with personalized beautiful interior to enjoy. 

Design Fees start at $5,000

RENOVATIONS & REMODELS

For clients who need an expert to guide them through a home remodel or renovation. By letting a professional work side-by-side with you and your contractor from start to finish to ensures a stress-free experience and a stunning end result. These projects typically include cabinetry, hard surface selections and lighting plans.

Design Fees start at $7,500

NEW CONSTRUCTION

For clients who need an expert to guide them through a home remodel or renovation. By letting a professional work side-by-side with you and your contractor, I work with your contractor from start to finish to ensure a stress-free experience and a stunning end result.

THE PROCESS

CONSULTATION

The initial Consultation phase is our opportunity to get to know each other, establish trust, and build a strong foundation for your project. Through an intake questionnaire and in-person meeting, we will discuss goals, scope, desired investment, and timeline with all decision-makers. Once you decide you want to work with me, you then receive a contract and client onboarding information.

  • When should I hire a designer?
    The sooner the better! By hiring a designer in the initial planning phase, we can help make sure the process goes smoothly right from the start. Designers, contractors and tradespeople typically book projects out a couple months in advance so it is best to inquire right away to ensure you can start your project accordingly.
  • What are the typical budgets you work with?
    One of the reasons I ventured out on my own was I wanted to be able to work with a variety of clients and budgets. I don't think hiring a designer and having a professional looking space should be exclusive to any certain group. I do however have my fees that are based on the amount of time, hard work and investment I put into each one of my projects.
  • How do we get started working with you?
    Please complete the form on my contact page and I will be sure to reach out to you immediately to schedule an initial complimentary phone consultation. We will find out when we speak if you are ready to move forward with the next step which is a paid in-home consultation.
  • What areas do you work with?
    I travel all around the greater Bay Area and further for design projects. Please reach out to me if you would like to discuss your project location further.
  • Can you work with my contractor and/or architect?
    Yes! I am happy to work with any vendor you have already contracted with. If you are still looking for vendors, I will gladly introduce you to several I know and trust.
  • How much is the investment in your services?
    I charge a fee for residential design services based on the scope of the project. The fee is outlined in your letter of agreement at the start of the project for full transparency. For furnishing procurement, we will also provide you with a detailed proposal that outlines your selection costs aligned with your desired investment. This is presented for approval at the final design presentation.
